Patient allegedly assaults nurse in Kaneohe hospital
A 30-year-old, female patient who was ordered by the court to be at a Kaneohe hospital allegedly assaulted a female nurse Wednesday morning, police said.
The alleged 9:15 a.m. assault left the nurse with unspecified injuries. The patient was arrested at 2:30 p.m. and released pending investigation.
Police did not identify the hospital. Kaneohe is home to the Hawaii State Hospital, where many patients are court ordered for treatment.
