A 21-year-old, Kapolei woman with a restraining order against a 22-year-old man allegedly was choked by the man Thursday morning, police said.
The man later turned himself into police. He was being held in custody on suspicion of second-degree assault, abuse, abuse in front of a juvenile witness and violating a protective order following the alleged attack at 8:50 a.m. Thursday.
