One vehicle is flipped on its side and a Lexus SUV has front-end damage at the intersection of Kapiolani Boulevard and South Street.
A woman driving a Lexus SUV was driving mauka on South Street at the Kapiolani Boulevard intersection Monday night when she ran a red light and struck an eastbound SUV.
The man driving the other SUV on Kapiolani Boulevard had to be extricated by firefighters, but suffered only minor injuries, police said.
Police said the crash was reported at 8:53 p.m.
