Demi Lovato leaves rehab after 90 days

Demi Lovato is out of rehab, three months after a drug overdose left her hospitalized for nearly two weeks.

Lovato, 26, returned to Los Angeles several days ago and is “doing well so far,” according to People.

The update comes just after TMZ published the first post-rehab photos of the star dining at an LA sushi restaurant with clothing designer Henry Levy.

The “Tell Me You Love Me” singer was hospitalized July 24 after a drug overdose at her Hollywood Hills home, and stayed for two weeks after reportedly suffering complications like a high fever and nausea.

She sought in-patient treatment upon her release, and mom Dianna De La Garza said last month that the singer was celebrating 90 days of sobriety.

“Yes, she has 90 days and I couldn’t be more thankful or more proud of her because addiction being a disease, it’s work,” she said Oct. 27. “It’s very hard, it’s not easy and there are no shortcuts.”

Lovato’s mother previously said that the singer was “in bad shape” after her overdose, and the family “didn’t know for two days if she was going to make it or not.”

Lovato broke her silence two weeks after her hospitalization with an Instagram post, but has not commented publicly since then.

“I have always been transparent about my journey with addiction. What I’ve learned is that this illness is not something that disappears or fades with time. It is something I must continue to overcome and have not done yet,” she wrote in August.

The singer has long been public with her struggles with addiction, and after celebrating six years of sobriety in March, revealed in June via the lyrics of her song “Sober” that she’d relapsed.
