Police arrest woman for allegedly stabbing another woman in Pearl City

A woman was accused of allegedly stabbing a 25-year-old woman multiple times in Pearl City.

Honolulu police have arrested a 38-year-old woman on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with the stabbing of a Pearl City woman Friday night.

Police arrested the woman at approximately 10 p.m. Friday. She was arrested at 1186 Kuokoa St., where she was accused of allegedly stabbing a 25-year-old woman multiple times. The woman was later taken to a trauma center in critical condition.

Honolulu police said a nearby witness reported the attack, which occurred around 9:40 p.m. Friday. Police said details leading up to the incident were not readily available, but that it appears that the women knew each other.
