Clifford Kino opened the entry hatch of his Batmobile Tumbler at the SAMCON Christmas Comics and Crafts Fair held at Heeia State Park in Kaneohe on Sunday. The custom fantasy vehicle made its debut at the event and was built by Kino. It was originally measured from a 1/18th scale model and built into a full scale replica upon a donated 1986 F150 truck. It took Kino two years to construct with a $4,000 investment in parts and sheet metal. Although drivable, it is not street legal and must be transported on a flatbed truck according to Kino.
