Police arrest man suspected of robbing taxi driver in Kalihi

Police have arrested one of two suspects after they allegedly robbed a taxi driver in Kalihi early today.

Police said two men, ages 18 and 19, used physical force in the commission of a theft of the 31-year-old male driver after he took them to The Towers of Kuhio Park at around 2:30 a.m.

The victim sustained minor injuries.

Police responded and arrested the 18-year-old suspect at 2:50 a.m. on Linapuni Street on suspicion of second-degree robbery.

The second suspect fled the scene and remains at-large.
