Kakaako traffic stop uncovers drugs, stolen information

A traffic stop in Kakaako this morning resulted in the arrest of a 24-year-old man for investigation of multiple offenses, police said.

The man was arrested at 1:10 a.m. at 520 Ward Ave. for investigation of auto theft, drugs, and possession of someone else’s personal information. Police did not know his identity and he was listed as John Doe on arrest records.

Police said during the traffic stop officers found the suspect was driving a 32-year-old man’s vehicle. During his arrest, officers also found the suspect in possession of another person’s confidential information and drugs.
