Greenpeace ship in isles for plastic pollution awareness

    The Greenpeace Arctic Sunrise arrived Thursday morning at Aloha Tower. The crew wants to bring awareness to plastic pollution in the ocean. The ship will be open to the public for free tours Oct. 13, 14, 27 and 28.

    Greenpeace ship called Arctic Sunrise docked at PIer 12 at Honolulu Harbor. After a brief greeting involving Hawaiian protocol, the crew came ashore and gathered in a circle to pray.
