2 charged in unrelated burglaries

Police responded to two unrelated home intrusions on Friday and Saturday.

A 41-year-old man was charged on Friday after police said he broke into a Kahala home and exposed his genitals.

Mark Cloutier, who did not give police an address, was charged on Friday with first-degree burglary. He remained at the main police station on Saturday, unable to post $50,000 bail.

Police said Cloutier entered the home at about 6:30 a.m. Friday and showed his genitals to a 53-year-old woman.

He ran from the home but was found nearby at Kilauea and Waialae avenues and arrested without incident.

In the other case, a 42-year-old Haleiwa man returned home at about 1:35 a.m. on Saturday and found a woman inside.

Police arrested Keenan A. Cheney, 41, of Haleiwa on Lokoea Place.

Cheney was charged on Saturday with first-degree burglary and remained in custody, unable to post $11,000 bail.
