2 men arrested for allegedly beating man in Haleiwa

Police on Tuesday arrested two North Shore men who allegedly beat a 36-year-old man in a Haleiwa parking lot earlier this year.

Police said a group beat the man inflicting serious bodily injury about 10:30 p.m. Feb. 25.

Police arrested a 22-year-old Haleiwa man and a 36-year-old Waialua man on suspicion of first-degree assault, a Class B felony punishable by 10 years in prison. The 22-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening.
