Police arrested three people on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam when one of them allegedly tried to cash a check on a restricted account on Tuesday.

Police said the bank called police about 11 a.m. after a 20-year-old Pearl City man tried to cash the check from the restricted account. Officers found the man in the bank and two people waiting for him inside a vehicle in the parking lot. In the vehicle, officers discovered narcotics and drug paraphernalia. Police said one of the people in the vehicle was the owner of the restricted checking account.

The two people in the vehicle — 29-year-old Aiea man and a 20-year-old Waipahu woman — were arrested on suspicion of four drug offenses. The 20-year-old Pearl City man was arrested for investigation of second-degree attempted theft.
