Police caught an alleged burglar this morning an hour after the burglary in the University of Hawaii area because of an all-points bulletin broadcast with his description from surveillance video.
An alarm in a commercial building in the University area alerted police 1:13 a.m. to the burglary.
Officers found a smashed window, then reviewed the surveillance footage, and broadcasted a description of the suspect.
Police found a 26-year-old man, who matched the description and resembled the suspect in the surveillance video, and arrested him at 2:15 a.m. on suspicion of second-degree robbery.
