Miami-based Interval Leisure Group has acquired Hawaii-based Aqua Hospitality and its Aqua Hotels and Resorts properties for undisclosed terms.

The acquisition, by ILG subsidiary Vacation Holdings Hawaii, includes 20 Aqua properties in Hawaii and on Guam.

"We look forward to leveraging the expertise of the Aqua team to enhance our already successful management and rental segment," said Craig M. Nash, chairman, president and CEO of Interval Leisure Group.

"The combined operational strength and market penetration that Aqua and Aston offer, with the global presence of ILG, present an exceptional opportunity for our owners, guests, and employees," said Kelvin Bloom, VHH president, in a statement.
