Body of apparent drowning victim recovered in Waikiki

A city ambulance and police car are seen on Kalakaua Avenue fronting Waikiki Beach, where the body of a man was found floating in the water Tuesday morning.

Officials recovered the body of a man in his 60s, who was found floating in the water off Waikiki Beach overnight.

The Emergency Medical Services Division reports the man was dead when paramedics arrived at about 1:30 a.m.
