Boy arrested for allegedly causing skull fractures in relative

Police arrested a 17-year-old Kapolei boy Tuesday for allegedly fracturing a 21-year-old family member’s head.

Police said the two were arguing and began physically fighting 4:50 p.m. Tuesday.

Police found and arrested the boy on suspicion of abuse of family member.

But when the man was taken to a medical treatment facility, the facility informed police he sustained multiple skull fractures.

Police arrested the boy Tuesday on suspicion of second-degree assault.
