LAS VEGAS >> Fire officials are investigating the cause of a two-alarm fire that badly damaged a Korean barbecue restaurant several miles west of the Las Vegas Strip.

Clark County fire Capt. John Steinbeck says no one was injured in the blaze a little after 11:45 p.m. Friday at Lee’s Korean BBQ on Spring Mountain Road near Rainbow Boulevard.

Steinbeck says about 40 county and city firefighters were able to contain flames before they spread to adjacent storefront businesses in the strip shopping center.

Damage was estimated at $70,000.
