Junior forward Tiana Fujimoto netted a hat trick to lead the Hawaii soccer team to a 4-1 victory over Idaho State on the first night of the Outrigger Hotels and Resorts Soccer Classic tonight at Waipio Peninsula Soccer Stadium.

Fujimoto was the sixth player in program history to score three goals in a match and the first since Britta Bourne in 2009. She scored in the 28th, 69th and 86th minutes on the Bengals (2-4).

UH (3-2) won its third straight and its first at home this season.

Freshman Ryan Daniel added the first goal of her career in the second half.
