Hawaii County police investigate Hilo robbery

Here is a sketch of the suspect in the Nov. 4 robbery of a woman in Hilo.

Hawaii County police are investigating a Nov. 4 robbery in Hilo.

Police said a 43-year-old Hilo woman was walking her bicycle on Mililani Street between Piilani and Hualani streets when a man approached her, demanded money from her and threatened her. He ran off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The woman was not injured.

The suspect is described as 5-feet 10-inches to 5-feet 11-inches tall, with a muscular build, dark brown eyes, very short black hair and a tan complexion. He wore surf shorts and a dirty, blue tank top.
