Hiker falls from third peak of Olomana Ridge

A 37-year-old man is in serious but stable condition after falling 80 feet from a peak of Olomana Ridge Saturday afternoon, Honolulu Fire Department said.

HFD arrived on scene at 1:05 p.m. and located the hiker at 1:37 p.m.

The man landed on a ledge and lost consciousness, HFD said.

He was airlifted off the trail and transferred to an ambulance crew at 1:56 p.m.
