Kauai police arrest two in Kapaa burglary

Police arrested two men after they allegedly burglarized a Kapaa home.

Shortly after midnight on New Year’s Eve, residents at a Inia Street home discovered several items missing including a laptop, musical instruments, money orders and other items. 

Police were called and officers located three men in the area in possession of the reported stolen items. Two of them were arrested. 

Nolan Kaleimamahu, 26, of Anahola, was arrested fpr second-degree theft and was being held on $1,000 bail.  Jacob Mahuka, 22, of Kapaa was arrested for first-degree burglary and second-degree theft and was being held on $6,000 bail.
