The Kauai Department of Water has rebilled all of its customers in Kekaha, Waimea, and Puhi to correct possible billing miscalculations.
The revised bill has the words “Corrected Bill Statement” printed at the top. Customers should discard their original bill and use the revised bill.
While most customers will receive a decrease in their bill, there may be an increase for some customers, Kauai officials said.
The department thanks customers for their patience while it works to resolve the issues with the new customer care and billing system. Customers can monitor their account online by registering at www.kauaiwater.org.
