Fire personnel rescued a couple who got disoriented while hiking in the Maunawili Falls Trail on Wednesday night.
Fire spokesman David Jenkins said the couple ended up on another trail that brought them deeper into Maunawili Valley.
The couple called the Fire Department about 8:25 p.m., and fire personnel used the GPS on their cell phone to locate them.
The woman suffered a possible injured wrist. Rescue personnel walked the couple out.
