Police arrested a 26-year-old Kalihi man who allegedly assaulted a 34-year-old man Monday during an apparent road rage incident near Castle Junction.
Police said the assault stemmed from a traffic incident.
The alleged crime occurred during afternoon rush-hour at 5:10 p.m. Monday when the suspect entered the other man’s vehicle near Pali and Kamehameha highways and assaulted him, police said.
Police arrested the suspect at 5:45 p.m. Monday on suspicion of first-degree unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle.
