A 52-year-old man refused to cooperate with officers during a DUI checkpoint on Farrington Highway in Maili and was arrested, police said.

Police said the suspect was driving a company car when he was stopped at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Officers asked the man to leave his vehicle, but he allegedly refused.

Police said officers detected signs that the man was intoxicated.

Officers arrested him for refusing to submit to testing, driving with a revoked license and on suspicion of being a habitual drunk driver.
