Man charged in theft of 2 cellphones in Waikiki

Authorities charged a 23-year-old man with no local address Wednesday for allegedly stealing two cellphones at a Waikiki business.

Police arrested Kameron Ko at Paoakalani and Kuhio avenues 3:20 p.m. Tuesday.

Police said on June 20 a man entered a Waikiki business and stole two cellphones belonging to two women.

He was later identified and arrested. He was charged with second-degree theft.

Ko’s bail was set at $10,000.
