University of Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota is featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated’s Nov. 4 issue.
Headlined, “The Colossus”, the cover says, “Oregon redefined West Coast football, now it’s time to conquer America (they’re coming for you, SEC.)”
It is the second time this season he has appeared on the magazine’s cover. He was also featured in SI’s college football preview issue this summer.
Mariota, a 2011 graduate of Saint Louis School in Honolulu, has led the Ducks to an 8-0 record and No. 2 spot in the national rankings.
The Ducks have an open date this weekend before playing Stanford.
