Maui police arrested a man and woman Wednesday for allegedly rummaging through a Makawao man’s truck in the Costco parking lot in Kahului.
About 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, the victim, 42, left the store and returned to his truck to find a man and woman in his truck, police said. When the victim approached, the man hit him in the face with a bottle and fled, police said. But he was later arrested at a nearby store.
The woman drove off in a green Honda sedan and was later arrested at her Paia home.
