Active-duty personnel, members of the National Guard or Reserves and veterans on Kauai will have access to the Mobile Vet Center beginning Monday.

The center, a 19,000-pound vehicle, will make stops in Lihue, Hanalei and Hanapepe, beginning Monday at Kauai Community College and extending through Wednesday, June 25, at United Church of Christ in Hanapepe.

The mobile center is being sent to Kauai under a collaborative effort between the Dept. of Veterans Affairs’ West Oahu Vet Center, Army OneSource Hawaii Behavioral Health Alliance, and Young Brothers Ltd.

The mobile center recently wrapped up a trip on Maui and will soon travel to Hawaii island.

Eligible Kauai residents with questions may call the Kauai Vet Center at 246-1163.
