The Coast Guard is seeking the public's assistance after receiving a report of an unmanned and adrift red kayak approximately one mile south of Maunalua Bay
The owner of a red kayak that had been found adrift Wednesday one mile south off Maunalua Bay called the Coast Guard today to claim it.
The Coast Guard had recovered the unmanned kayak Wednesday and asked for the public’s help in finding the vessel’s owner.
A Coast Guard spokeswoman said the owner said the kayak had come untied and floated off.
