Police: Man doused with flammable liquid and threatened in Moiliili

A 24-year-old McCully man is being held on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening after he allegedly doused a 37-year-old man with flammable liquid and threatened to kill him Saturday night, Honolulu police said.

The incident occurred around 10:40 p.m. in the Moiliili area.

Police said they found and arrested the alleged suspect around 11 p.m. near King and Coolidge streets.

Police said the suspect’s motive for approaching the 37-year-old victim is unknown.
