Police arrest man for allegedly robbing Ewa Beach store

Police arrested a 23-year-old man who allegedly robbed an Ewa Beach convenience store early Wednesday morning.

At 1:45 a.m., a man wearing a hooded jacket and a mask entered the convenience store and demanded cigarettes and all the money from the cash register and fled on foot, police said.

The store employee immediately called police, and responding officers found the suspect in the area. Police arrested the man on suspicion of first-degree robbery.
