Police are looking for a male suspect who allegedly fired a gun late Monday night at a 26-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy in an Ewa Beach neighborhood.

Police have opened an attempted murder case.

Police said the man and teenage boy were standing on the street in an Ewa Beach neighborhood when they saw the suspect pass by.

The teen thought he recognized the suspect and stopped him.

Police said the suspect got upset and yelled at the pair.

He then allegedly pulled out a firearm and fired two rounds at the victims, who fled the area.

They then called police, but responding officers could not find the suspect.
