PORTLAND, Ore. >> Police say a man who broke into a northwest Portland restaurant made off with 16 bottles of tequila worth more than $3,000.

Officers say the man smashed the front glass door of the Casa del Matador Restaurant & Tequila Bar early Thursday morning, then kicked out a wood panel in the door to a storage room where the tequila bottles are kept.

The Oregonian reports  that police released surveillance video of the theft and are asking for help from the public in finding the man.
