Slight dip in Honolulu gas prices

Average retail price for gasoline in Honolulu has dropped by 4.9 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.98 per gallon, according to GasBuddy’s daily survey of 214 gas outlets in Honolulu. 

The national average has fallen 5.9 cents per gallon in the past week to $3.30 per gallon, according to gasoline price website GasBuddy.com.

Including the change in gas prices in Honolulu during the past week, the city’s average retail price was 26.9 cents per gallon lower than the average price recorded one year ago, and 16.5 cents per gallon lower than a month ago. The national average has decreased 13.3 cents per gallon during the last month and stands at 26.4 cents per gallon lower than one year ago.
