No damages or injuries were reported from an early morning brush fire in Waikapu in central Maui.
The fire, which was reported at 2:51 a.m., scorched 7,500 square feet in an area located across the Honoapiilani Highway mauka of the Waikapu On 30 restaurant.
Maui firefighters from two companies brought the fire under control by 3:23 a.m. Cause of the fire is under investigation.
