The University of Hawaii announced that its second-round Collegeinsider.com Postseason Tournament basketball game with San Francisco tomorrow night will be shown on Oceanic Time Warner Cable’s OC 16 channel.

Athletic director Jim Donovan made the announcement after about 4,000 tickets had been sold as of this morning for the 7 p.m. game.

Donovan said UH’s break-even point was an estimated $57,500 in ticket revenue and UH had topped $60,000 this morning. He said Oceanic will pay $7,500 for the TV rights.

Oceanic was given the go-ahead to show Tuesday night’s first-round victory over Portland after a $58,000 mark had been met.

Under terms of its agreement with the Boston-based CIT, UH underwrites travel, hotel and per diem expenses for visiting teams and pays a fee to the tournament. UH keeps tickets, TV, concession and parking revenues.
