Lokelani Harbrecht-Kalua was charged with first-degree terroristic threatening.

Hawaii County police and prosecutors charged a Puna woman with first-degree terroristic threatening for allegedly brandishing a gun near Keoneopoko Elementary School in the Hawaiian Beaches subdivision of Puna last week.

Bail for Lokelani Harbrecht-Kalua, 49, was set at $2,000 after she was charged on Friday. She was scheduled to make an initial court appearance this afternoon.

Police said officers responded to a report of a woman brandishing a gun at a residence near Keoneopoko Elementary School Thursday morning at 7:18 a.m. The woman reportedly pointed a gun in the direction of the school.

The school went on lockdown as a precaution and lifted the lockdown after Harbrecht-Kalua’s arrest.

Police said they recovered three firearms during their investigation.
