Afghan police: Bomber attacks governor’s compound
KABUL, Afghanistan >> Afghan police say a suicide bomber has attacked a provincial governor’s compound in northern Afghanistan and there are some casualties.
Ministry of Interior spokesman Zemeri Bashary says the explosion occurred at the governor office complex in Takhar province.
Afghan National Police’s regional spokesman Lal Mohammad Ahmadzai says the attack occurred while officials were having a meeting.
