Autopsies scheduled for 2 men found unresponsive at Oahu beaches

The Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct autopsies to determine the cause of death for two men found on two separate Oahu beaches Tuesday.

The body of a 49-year-old man was discovered lying unresponsive on a beach in Waialua at about 12:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Another man, who had been free diving, was found floating in waters off Punaluu at about 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Bystanders pulled the 51-year-old man’s body to shore and he was pronounced the man dead at the scene.
