HILO, Hawaii >> The search for a missing man has prompted the closure of Akaka Falls State Park on the Big Island.

Authorities say 53-year-old Jeffrey Reyes was last seen at the park Friday morning.

A Hawaii Fire Department supervisor said police called firefighters to assist.

There’s no word yet on when the park will reopen.
