Boy, 14, arrested for allegedly stealing purse at Kaimuki restaurant

Police arrested Thursday morning a 14-year-old boy for allegedly stealing a 25-year-old woman’s purse at a Kaimuki restaurant Tuesday.
Police said the boy allegedly took the purse while the woman was sitting in a restaurant at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The boy was arrested on suspicion of second-degree theft.
He was released later this morning pending further investigation.
