Maui fire rescue personnel airlifted two hunters in distress from the Mahana area of Lanai Saturday afternoon.

The two men, ages 57 and 63, were part of a hunting party that had hiked to an area above Shipwreck Beach.

According to a Maui Fire Department report, the 57-year-old man injured his back and the 63-year-old man was suffering from fatigue.
