The Honolulu-based U.S.-China Legal Network has announced a new member as well as plans to travel to Asia to foster investments in Hawaii.

Benjamin Lau, managing partner of Haikili Advisors Ltd., has joined the network as a member. Lau is a former Wall Street lawyer and member of the New York State Bar.

USCLN was founded by Cades Schutte senior member Roger Epstein, Mark T. Shklov, Larry Foster and Alan W.C. Ma, who each hold leadership positions at law firms.

The network was formed six years ago to promote Hawaii as a gateway for China investment and business activity.
