Police shut down a portion of Diamond Head Road between Coconut Avenue and the lighthouse due to an earlier rockslide.

Diamond Head Road was contra-flowed for a time, but was shut down completely at about 3:30 p.m. to allow a crew to clear the debris.
The Waikiki-side of Diamond Head Road was reopened Tuesday night after Honolulu police closed it following a rockslide in the area.
The incident occurred at the 3100 block, between Coconut Avenue and the Diamond Head Lighthouse, about 1:40 p.m., an HPD Dispatch supervisor said. It does not appear anyone was hurt.
The road was contra-flowed for a time, but was shut down completely at about 3:30 to allow a crew to clear the debris. It is unclear when it will be reopened.
