East shores can expect high surf until Wednesday

A high-surf advisory for the east shores of Oahu, Kauai, Molokai, Maui and Hawaii island is in effect until 6 a.m. Wednesday.

The National Weather Service cancelled a previous high-surf advisory for all north and west shores after surf heights dipped below advisory levels on Monday.

Surf along eastern shores is expected to range from 5 to 8 feet.
