Maui firefighters battled a brush fire on Maui Lani Parkway in Kahului Thursday afternoon.
Fire crews arrived at the parkway near the entrance of the road leading to The Dunes at Maui Lani Golf Course maintenance building and found a fire roughly 0.5 acres in size, fire official said.
The fire was reported at 3:49 p.m. Firefighters brought it under control at 4:13 p.m. and had it extinguished at 5:16 p.m.
The blaze consumed dry grass and brush. No one was injured and no structures were reported damaged.
The cause remains undetermined.
