Hawaii island man, woman charged with burglary in Pepeekeo area

A Hawaii island man and woman were charged with burglary and other offenses Monday morning for allegedly breaking into several homes in Pepeekeo and Ninole during January.

Authorities charged Shaylyn Araw, 21, with two counts of first-degree burglary, second-degree theft, third-degree theft and fourth-degree theft. Her bail was se at $12,750

Robert Navor, 22, was charged with first-degree burglary, two counts of second-degree theft, second-degree forgery, unauthorized possession of confidential information, third-degree theft and fourth-degree theft. His bail was set at $13,750.

Police also arrested a 34-year-old Pepeekeo man on suspicion of hindering prosecution for aiding and sheltering the two while police were looking for them. He was released Monday pending further investigation.
