Hawaii island police searching for missing Kailua-Kona man

Hawaii Island police are searching for a 37-year-old Kailua-Kona man. Robert Keawe Lopaka Ryder was last contacted on Thanksgiving Day, 2013. 

He is described as 5-foot-10, 150 pounds with green eyes and short brown hair. 

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311 or Officer Eric Uehana Sr. at 889-6540. 

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. Crime Stoppers doesn’t record calls or subscribe to caller ID. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
