Homeless man arrested for allegedly breaking into a home

A 23-year-old homeless man was arrested yesterday after he allegedly stole some items from a resident who had filed a temporary restraining order against him in Nuuanu.

The man broke into the home and removed the unidentified items about 4 p.m., police said.

He was arrested at the 7-Eleven at 1755 Nuuanu Ave. on suspicion of first-degree burglary and violating a temporary restraining order.
